Otipy solves this problem via its artificial intelligence-enabled prediction model. Here, farmers are notified of the demand 48 hours in advance. The same prediction also enables consumers to place orders on the app while the produce is still lying at the farms. Post harvest, as soon as the produce reaches Otipy’s warehouses, using its proprietary warehousing system, Otipy then quickly packs and dispatch the orders in just about 4 to 6 hours. Through this, it ensures that fresh fruits and vegetables reach consumers early in the morning.
Such a fast supply chain also enables Otipy to reduce wastage in the supply chain by 10X – from 40% to just 4%.
