The Challenge

Miniwesst had traditionally relied on multiple third-party vendors, both online and offline, to sell its products. However, as more customers began shopping directly from brand websites, it was time for Miniwesst to set up its own D2C store and help shoppers engage directly with the brand. While Miniwesst excelled in creating a shopper-friendly website with all the necessary information, its conversion rate remained low and stagnant. The brand ran diagnostic tests and discovered that a slow and lengthy native checkout process was causing shopper distress and a high drop-off rate. It became imperative for Miniwesst to offer a safe and secure direct-to-consumer (D2C) site with a seamless and fast checkout experience to curb these issues.

Solution: The Solution

A. Quick Login Verification: Shoppers can easily log in using their phone numbers and a one-time password or authenticate via Truecaller on the mobile website. GoKwik’s network effect allows shoppers already in the GoKwik network to auto-login, reducing login friction.

B. Address Pre-fill: One of the most tedious steps in the checkout process is entering addresses. With GoKwik's data of over 100 million shoppers, the system can fetch and pre-fill a shopper's two most recent addresses, making the process quick and easy.

C. Kwik Discounts: Discounts are crucial for driving conversions. GoKwik’s discounting engine, with over 250 configurations, allows Miniwesst to strategically display discounts on the checkout window, reducing drop-offs and boosting conversions. Additional discounts on specific payment methods, like UPI, cards, or wallets, further encourage prepaid orders.

D. KwikPay: This comprehensive suite of payment methods gives shoppers the flexibility to pay using their preferred method, reducing cart abandonment at the last moment.

2. KwikPass: Enhancing Customer Identification & Engagement

KwikPass is an industry-first feature that helps identify incoming website traffic, compels users to log in upon landing on the site, and completes the checkout process without requiring account creation.

Early Identification and Engagement: By identifying shoppers early, Miniwesst can engage with them through targeted offers on WhatsApp or other communication mediums. This early engagement helps increase customer interaction and boost conversions.

The Results

Within a month of implementing GoKwik's solutions, Miniwesst saw significant improvements in its business metrics:
