The Problem Statement

Since its inception, Aegte has believed that the best way to build a brand in India is by establishing a personal connection with its target audience, in addition to offering high-quality and result-driven products.

With this mindset, the founders have taken many steps in this direction such as providing necessary product details on the website, guaranteeing seamless order delivery and an excellent user experience. However, despite all this and high incoming traffic, Aegte increasingly experienced a low conversion rate.

This not only costs the brand in terms of deterred conversions but significantly increases their customer acquisition cost.

Aegte identified that drop-offs were higher at the checkout stage compared to other pages of the website. And, there could be multiple reasons behind this, including a native checkout process that asked shoppers for too much information at every step, potentially irritating them and causing them to leave the site before completing their purchase.

While there were some solutions on the market that enabled Aegte to streamline its checkout process to some extent, the drop-off rate and conversion rate continued to decline. This is when they got introduced to GoKwik's solutions and decided to give it a try.

Solution: The Solution

Additionally, shoppers found two of their latest addresses pre-filled on the checkout window, allowing them to simply select one and proceed to the payment page to complete the purchase.

Moreover, KwikCheckout enabled shoppers to find all discount coupons there on the pop-up window itself making it easy for them to select one right there and then, avail of instant rebates. GoKwik’s comprehensive payment stack further helped shoppers to pay via a payment method of their choice and complete the purchase within seconds.

The new checkout interface completely transformed the customer experience while drastically reducing drop-offs for Aegte. Besides this, owing to the ease of checkout, the brand also saw an increase in both fresh and repeat orders.

GoKwik’s intuitive dashboard further proved quite useful for the brand to analyse the performance of KwikCheckout on its website.

In just a short period, Aegte witnessed significant improvement in its business metrics.
